Who can use Rekindle

You must be 18 or older. You may only search for adults.

What you may post

• Only truthful information about a genuine past connection.
• Only photos you have the right to share.
• No searches for romantic ex-partners, people who owe you money, people involved in a dispute with you, or anyone who may be avoiding you for their safety.
• No harassment, threats, impersonation, spam, advertising or illegal content.

We may remove any search, claim or tip, or freeze a search, at our discretion — especially when a report suggests a person does not want to be found.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to display your search card on Rekindle and in the share links and images you create, until you delete it.

How verification works — and its limits

A claim is accepted when the claimant's answers match the poster's. Rekindle does not check anyone's identity and cannot guarantee that a claimant is who they say they are. Use the same care you would meeting anyone from the internet: talk first, meet in public, and never send money.

Your verification answers are the encryption key for your sealed contact details. We cannot recover them; if they are forgotten, the sealed details are lost.

No guarantee

Rekindle is provided free and "as is". We cannot promise that a search will find anyone or that the service will always be available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for the actions of people you meet through the service. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
